The Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center, along with Long Island Wins,  present: “Deputized” — a documentary offering multi-dimensional perspectives on the murder of Marcelo Lucero in Patchogue in 2008. An interactive discussion panel will follow the film. Panelists include:

Joselo Lucero — Marcelo’s brother and Outreach Coordinator at the Hagedorn Foundation
Hon. Jon Cooper — former Suffolk County Legislator; board director of HMTC
Hendel Leiva — Community organizer for Welcoming Long Island, a Long Island Wins initiative
Patrick Young — Hofstra immigration law professor, program director of the Central American Refugee Center, and Vice Chairman of the Long Island Immigrant Alliance and the New York Immigration Coalition

Suggested donation is $10.00. Donations will support the Holocaust Memorial & Tolerance Center and the Marcelo Lucero Award.
