Darts and Demagogues Perfect Timing for Tomorrow Night's Panel Event - Did You RSVP Yet?

On the heels of this morning's blog in which I say our elected officials should learn by example, I may need to eat my words. I guess I should have pointed out that I meant "positive example."

Soon after that post, I received this article from LIIA. In doing a little research about the Suffolk County bill that required all workers of contractors doing business with the County to show proof that they are here legally, I came across this article from Newsday, in which Matthew Crosson from the Long Island Association criticizes the bill.

Fortunately for us (and for you), Mr. Crosson is one of our panelists at our event tomorrow night, Long Island WINS presents Don't Make Our Mistakes - Lessons from Riverside, NJ in the costs of attacking immigrants. There is still time to RSVP to attend the event at longislandwins@gmail.com.

We hope that you can join us for what is sure to be a very educational and enlightening panel.
