On the heels of this morning's blog in which I say our elected officials should learn by example, I may need to eat my words. I guess I should have pointed out that I meant "positive example."
Soon after that post, I received this article from LIIA. In doing a little research about the Suffolk County bill that required all workers of contractors doing business with the County to show proof that they are here legally, I came across this article from Newsday, in which Matthew Crosson from the Long Island Association criticizes the bill.
