If you want to support the Lucero family in their hour of grief, you are invited to attend his wake and funeral tonight at the Congregational Church of Patchogue at 95 East Main St. The wake will begin at 5pm and the funeral at 7pm.

We put a Black man in the white House but we have not come close in dealing with racism in our society.The racial attack on Marcello Lucero was only one of several bias crimes in suffolk county over the past month, including an assault on an unidentified 22-year old hispanic man in farmingville.Suffolk County has been notorious since steve Levy got elected to be the county executive of Suffolk County. Mr Levy poorly handled the the Lucero hate murder, and his handling of illegal immigration in general.I blame Mr Levy for Lucero murder.He's a bully and he deserves to be called out for it. I cannot stress it enough: we are going to live together, and nobody, nobody, should ever feel that they will be attacked because of their ethnicity, their orientation, their religion, where they live, their documented status, or anything else.
