In the News Hempstead protest against killing of Marcelo Lucero

The Workplace Project is organizing a march and vigil protesting the killing of Marcelo Lucero this Saturday in Hempstead. The march will begin at the bus station on the corner of Main St. and Jackson St. at 6:15pm. It wll then march at 6:45 to Hempstead Town Hall. The vigil at Town Hall will last from 7pm until 8:30pm. Town Hall is at 1 Washington St. in Hempstead.

The bus station is easily accessable from the Hempstead LIRR train station and there is ample parking. All are encouraged to speak out against the hatred.
