CNN-based pseudo-news personality Lou Dobbs has made a name for himself railing against illegal immigrants.
Tuesday night, MSNBC's Keith Olbermann made an interesting statement:
According to a new lifestyles of the 'rich and famous'-esque book on the show-jumping horse circuit, Lou Dobbs' two daughters are serious horse enthusiasts. The competitive equestrian industry, as a whole, employs thousands of undocumented workers, shoveling about 40-tons of show-jumpin' horse manure a day.
It costs solid money for Dobbs' daughters to participate in these sorts of events, and I'm assuming Dobbs foots the bill.
To break that down: anti-immigrant Dobbs' money... paying to employ... (gasp) undocumented immigrants! Hmm.
That sounds hypocritical for such an opponent of undocumented immigrants, to me.

It doesn't take much convincing, with even more evidence to pile on the already overwhelming, indisputable fact that Lou Dobbs is a hypocrite, is unfair and is on a vainglorious crusade of anti-immigrant scapegoating that has fired-up the nativism of very large American audience like no other demagogue. Perhaps not since George Wallace or Fr. Coughlin, the infamous anti-Semite pro-Hitler priest whose radio crusade in the 30s had such an impact, very similar to Dobbs'. Since Fr. Couglin has our nation seen such a populist racisct with such baneful y dangerous media influence.
The need is not for more examples of his vile and corrupt influence, that Time-Warner is silently taking to the bank, but for thoughtful discussion of what can be done to have Time Warner put an end to the suffering and hate he is propagating. What is to be done? What course of action do you offer? --mo
