This afternoon, a judge ordered three young men stand trial for the killing of Luis Ramirez. One of the six White teens involved in the attack testfied against the three charged with various bias-related crimes. He said that the group had used racial slurs to incite the fight and that one of the three had kicked Ramirez in the head after he was incapacitated.
The teen also said that the attackers met the next day to concoct a story in which they claimed that Ramirez started the fight, that there was not racial element, and that no one had kicked the Ramirez after he was down.
Here is an update on the hearing.
