In the News St. Patrick was an immigrant

Boy, hard to believe I missed this one yesterday. Neat article in the Boston Globe reminding us that St. Patrick was an immigrant.

A good saint to have for a patron was always my conclusion. He denounced slavery and worked tirelessly against the exploitation of women. Likely he would be working in some NGO if he were alive today.Certainly not the sort of saint you would find sitting on top of a column as his personal path to salvation.
