Adlai Stevenson once remarked that a citizen’s time in the voting booth was “the liberal hour”. Two hundred years of struggle for democracy and civil rights basically boils down to going to vote one hour every two years.
Well, this year, expect a lot of new citizens at “the liberal hour”.
