4th Annual Unity Day

The Suffolk County Office of Minority Affairs in collaboration with Suffolk County Youth Bureau’s Congress for J.U.S.T.I.C.E. (Join Us Speaking Together in Creating Equality), will be hosting the 4th Annual Unity Day program. This year’s program is themed “Respecting Each Other’s Culture”.  Unity Day embraces the rich and diverse cultures which make up the fabric of our communities, while enhancing our commitment to educate and work together.  Since its inception in 2007, Unity Day has attracted thousands of visitors and hundreds of organizations.  Last year’s program hosted more than 30 schools and 1,000 students from all over the county, and dozens of representatives with a wide range of ethnic and professional backgrounds.

Friday, October 29, 2010 from 9:30am - 2:30pm
