Amidst the dark, widespread horrors of the Holocaust, some lights emerged: rescuers who risked their own lives to save Jewish ones. The Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center’s special exhibit, “Defying the Devil: Christian Clergy Who Saved Jews from the Holocaust” highlights some of these brave upstanders who were members of the Christian clergy.
