- National Earned Income Tax Credit Awareness Day
Every year, free tax preparation sites throughout the country collaborate with endless partners to kick off the new tax season and highlight the effects of tax credits for working families on local economies. Since its inception, the Earned Income Tax Credit has been the most effective federal initiative in boosting local economies. Last year alone, free tax preparation sites were able to draw down nearly $1.4million in EITC dollars to Long Island. Let’s do more!
