Rally At Senator Schumer’s Office For Immigration Reform

The Long Island Immigrant Alliance will hold the kick-off rally of its campaign for comprehensive immigration reform on Thursday, March 4 at 10:30 AM outside the offices of Senator Chuck Schumer at 145 Pinelawn Rd. in Melville, N.Y.

Senator Schumer is Chair of the Senate Immigration Sub-Committee and is writing the new immigration bill. The rally is to thank him for his work and to urge him to make sure the bill is introduced and passed this year.

With time running out for immigration reform legislation to pass it is crucial that reform supporters make their voices hear.

For more information about the rally—which was originally scheduled for Feb. 11, but postponed due to weather—call 631-789-0720.
