CLE Program - The Immigration Reform Debate: Getting Beyond the Rhetoric
Touro Law Center and the Long Island Hispanic Bar Association present “The Immigration Reform Debate: Getting Beyond the Rhetoric” Continuing Legal Education Program on Thursday, September 16, 2010 from 6:00-9:30 p.m. at the Law Center in Central Islip.
This CLE program, worth three CLE credits, will provide an overview of Immigration Law and analyze the constitutionality of the recently enacted Arizona Law and other state and local laws designed to address immigration related issues. It will also explore the practical realities, limitations and misconceptions faced in addressing immigration related issues.
Thomas R. Suozzi, former Nassau County Executive, will be the featured speaker. Local judges, lawyers and law professors will also share their expertise in issues relating to immigration law.
