Call-In To Schumer’s Office a Success; Rally on Thursday
This past Thursday, Long Island Wins and the Long Island Immigrant Alliance organized a successful call-in to Senator Chuck Schumer’s Melville office, thanking Schumer for his efforts on behalf of immigration reform and calling for him to introduce an immigration reform bill.
A special thanks to everyone who emailed us to let us know how the call went—we appreciate the feedback.
Immigration reform was certainly on the radar at Schumer’s office this past Thursday, and it will be again this coming Thursday, February 11, when the Long Island Immigrant Alliance will hold a 10:30am rally for immigration reform in front of Schumer’s Melville office (145 Pinelawn Road, Melville).
The rally will be a chance to show support for Schumer’s immigration reform efforts and to let him know that we want to fix our broken immigration system now, not later.
