Far-Right Cop Killer Had Previously Advocated Violence

Jerry Kane and his son Joe were killed after they shot and killed two police officers near Little Rock, Ark.. Kane is part of a network of far-right anti-government activists who have become bolder since the election of Barak Obama. There have been a number of violent attacks, including on immigrants, by people associated with this ideology over the last 16 months. 

Kane was allegedly a member of the Patriot movement. His van was registered to an address formerly housing a headquarters of the neo-Nazi Aryan Nations.

Here is video of Kane addressing a seminar where he is asked about judicial remedies for dealing with the IRS. He tells attendees to get together to ambush an IRS employee and break her legs. The language is crude in the video:
