Immigration Judge selection process tainted by politics

At a time when the immigration legal system was under severe pressure, the Bush administration held up the appointment of career immigration judges to ascertain their loyalty to the Republican party! A new Department of Justice Inspector General’s report describes the illegal introduction of partisan politics into the selection process.
