Immigration Reform Caravan Gets Upstate Attention

The immigration reform caravan organized by the New York Immigration Coalition hit Saratoga Springs and Syracuse yesterday, and it is attracting significant Upstate media attention. Saul Linares of Hempstead is one of the immigrants speaking out at the rallies organized around the caravan. Here is video from snowy Saratoga yesterday:


At the Syracuse caravan stop, a student from Syracuse University spoke about her own undocumented parents.

The Road Trip has also been covered by the New York media, like the Daily News. Here is a brief radio piece from WNYC that aired yesterday:
