I was interviewed on Pacifica Radio WBAI’s “War on Immigrants Report” last night, speaking about the March 2010 trial of Jeffrey Conroy, the Medford teen who was convicted of first-degree manslaughter as a hate crime in relation to the death of Ecuadorian immigrant Marcelo Lucero. In November 2008, Conroy stabbed Lucero as part of a spree of violence against immigrants that Conroy and his friends referred to as “beaner hopping.”

Click here to listen to the clip on the Pacifica website. If you’re eager to get to my segment, it starts around 26 minutes.
