A march and rally for immigration reform will take place in Hempstead on May 1, 2010 in conjunction with dozens of other rallies around the country on that day.

The march will begin assembling on the corner of Front St. and North Franklin St. at 11 AM and will step off at Noon. Marchers will arrive at the parking lot at Fulton and Washington at 12:30 PM for a rally expected to last until 2 PM. There will be speakers and music at the rally.

Those wishing to make a day of it can board a bus at 2:30 PM to join a rally in Manhattan. There is a fee for the bus.
