No Alternates Chosen Today in Jeffrey Conroy Trial

No alternate jurors were selected today in the trial of Jeffrey Conroy, accused of stabbing and killing Ecuadorian immigrant Marcelo Lucero in November 2008. Jury selection resumes at 10am tomorrow in Riverhead.

On Friday, Newsday’s Sumathi Reddy reported that opening statements could begin as early as Wednesday.
