UPDATED: Police Officer Testifies in the Jeffrey Conroy Trial

UPDATE 1:55pm

Officer Frank Munsch took the stand just before noon today, I assume to address the identification and arrest of Jeffrey Conroy.

Since Long Island Wins has already reported about several Suffolk police officers’ testimony during pre-trial hearings, I took the opportunity to duck out of the court room, and blog about the testimonies of two of Conroy’s friends, which I heard yesterday and this morning.

I’m heading back in now, and will give an update about Munch later. Newsday expects other police officers to testify in the afternoon.

UPDATE: Court was adjourned around 1pm or so. According to Judge Robert W. Doyle, testimony should resume on Monday at 10:30am.
