Prosecution To Call Last Witness Today in Marcelo Lucero Trial

The prosecution will call its last witness today, Det. John McLeer, the detective who took down Jeff Conroy’s confession to stabbing Marcelo Lucero on Nov. 8, 2008 in Patchogue. Once the prosecution rests, the defense may present witnesses. It is not yet known who, if anyone, the defense intends to call as a witness. If the defense calls witnesses, the prosecution can present rebuttal witnesses.
