Today, 150 members of the New York Immigration Coalition rallied at City Hall in Manhattan demanding that the Obama administration keep its promise to push immigration reform. City Council members joined in the protest. At almost the same time, scores of undocumented students took to the streets of Chicago to publicize the plight of young people brought by their parents as children to the U.S. who now languish in a shadow world of undocumented status.
Other rallies from California to Georgia have taken place this week, all pointing to the March 21 rally in Washington.
