Suffolk Police Commissioner’s PR Attracts Attention

An e-mail sent out yesterday by the Suffolk Police is attracting some negative attention. The e-mail forwarded an Associated Press story about Patchogue that says that NY immigrants say tensions fade after bias attack. The inadequately sourced article itself actually describes immigrants who say they are still afraid to walk the streets for fear of attack, but I guess the inaccurate headline is what Police commissioner Dormer wanted to get out.
