In response to allegations that Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy inappropriately obtained and edited a report on hate crimes, Long Island Wins is calling on the Suffolk County Ethics Commission to investigate whether or not the report was handled properly.

In partnership with the national advocacy group America’s Voice, we’re organizing an e-fax campaign to both the head of the Suffolk County Legislature and the head of the Ethics Commission.

Click here to send a fax online.

According to a source at the legislature, faxes have been streaming in today, a strong show of support for the investigation.

Thanks to everyone who submitted a fax. Suffolk County should take hate crimes seriously—thanks for taking the time to show your support.
