VIDEO: Responses to “Climate of Fear” Report

On Wednesday, the Southern Poverty Law Center released a report showing that Latino immigrants in Suffolk County live in a “climate of fear,” which is fostered by anti-immigrant rhetoric and unresponsive policing. After the press conference, I caught up with local immigrant advocates and some of the people involved with creating the report, and asked them what they thought about the findings, and where the county should go from here:
