Vigil in Support of the DREAM Act in Hempstead Tonight

Supporters of the DREAM Act, the recently defeated legislation that would have provided a pathway to citizenship for certain undocumented students, will hold a vigil tonight at the Hempstead train station.

The vigil is organized by the Long Island Immigrant Students Association and the Workplace Project, and will take place at 6pm. Click here for the event flier.
