White Power Graffiti Found in Massapequa
Several store fronts in a Massapequa shopping center were vandalized with phrases like “White Power, KKK, and Hitler Lives” on the early morning hours of Saturday, April 9, and the Nassau County Police Department is investigating the incident as bias crime.
From the police:
The Seventh Squad reports the details of a criminal mischief that occurred between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 2:00am on April 9, 2011 in Massapequa.
According to Detectives, an unknown subject did spray paint anti-Semitic words on the store fronts of the Sunrise Promenade Shopping Center located at 5274 Sunrise Highway. The words painted included “White Power, KKK, and Hitler Lives”.
Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
